What problems do vacuum dryers encounter in daily operation?


The so-called vacuum drying refers to heating and drying the dried material under vacuum conditions. If a vacuum pump is used for air and moisture extraction, the drying speed is accelerated. If a condenser is used, the solvent in the material can be recovered through the condenser. If the solvent is water, the condenser can be omitted, saving energy investment. During the operation of the vacuum dryer, solid particles are suspended in the liquid and need to be separated from the slurry at a certain stage. Firstly, mechanical solid-liquid separation equipment such as filtration centrifuges, vacuum filters, settling machines, filter presses, and static thickeners are used to separate solids from liquids. The selection of the best type of mechanical separation equipment for a certain process is mainly determined by factors such as solid properties, production capacity, and operation mode in vacuum drying technology.
