The cantilever vacuum rake dryer is suitable for the production of sterile products in the pharmaceutical industry. It consists of a quick-opening flat head, a specially cantilever-mounted agitator fitted with heated stirring paddles, a double-end mechanical seal, a dust collector, and either a discharge valve installed at the bottom or a piston-type discharge valve mounted on the flat head.
Scope of application
Granular crystalline products; heat-sensitive products that tend to denature even at low temperatures; toxic and/or easily oxidizable products discharged from fitter presses or centrifuges.
This dryer greatly shortens the drying cycle thanks to the following features: Continuous mixing and agitation of materials; excellent heat transfer performance for heating and cooling powder materials; on-line sampling without breaking vacuum or shutting down the unit.
