Product introduction

The disc dryer is a contact dryer used to extract dry solids from liquids containing solid particles, such as solutions and suspensions.
The liquid to be dried is sprayed by a pump through multiple nozzles onto a set of steam-heated discs heated from the center.
Evaporation takes place on the surface of the heated discs.
Once the remaining dried material completes one full rotation, scrapers fitted on the discs peel it off the disc surface.
The resulting dry product is then conveyed out of the dryer via a conveying device, and waste gas containing water vapor is exhausted afterwards.
Therefore, this type of dryer features relatively low heat energy consumption.
