Working Principle

It is well known that vacuum drying places raw materials under vacuum conditions for heating and drying. Pumping out air and moisture by vacuum can greatly accelerate the drying speed.
Note: A condenser can be equipped to recover the solvent contained in raw materials. If water is the only solvent, the condenser can be omitted to reduce equipment investment and operational cost.

Application scope

It is suitable for drying heat-sensitive materials that are prone to decomposition, polymerization and modification at high temperature. It is widely used in pharmaceutical, chemical, food, electronic and other industries.

Characteristics

The vacuum environment lowers the boiling point of material solution and increases the heat transfer impulse of the evaporator, which saves the heat transfer area of the evaporator under the same heat transfer capacity.
Low-pressure steam or waste heat steam can be used as the heat source for evaporation, with low evaporator heat loss.
Sterilization can be completed before drying. No impurities are generated during the whole drying process, which fully complies with GMP requirements.
Adopting static vacuum drying mode, it will not cause any damage to dried materials.
